Why we created the Bubnest Feeding Pillow

So much thought goes into preparing for a new baby.

The bassinet. The pram. The nappies. The tiny clothes. The endless lists of newborn essentials.

But once baby arrives, there is another very important person who needs looking after too, mum.

Feeding a newborn most often means hours upon hours of breastfeeding, expressing or bottle feeding. Arms get tired. Shoulders hunch. Backs ache. And during those hazy newborn days, the smallest things that make feeding a little more comfortable can make a very big difference.

That’s exactly what we wanted our Feeding Pillow to do.

What makes a good feeding pillow?

If you’re pregnant and wondering whether you need a feeding pillow, or trying to work out which feeding pillow is best, there are a few things worth considering.

1. Support and firmness

A feeding pillow needs to do more than simply feel soft.
