Can the Baby Nest be used for sleep?
At Bubnest, we take our role seriously and are committed to sharing safe sleep practices, helpful resources, and honest product knowledge with our community.
Our Baby Nests are not sleep products. They are lovingly designed for comfort, play, bonding, and supervised rest while your baby is awake. They are not made or intended for naps, co-sleeping, or any form of unsupervised or supervised sleep.

What is the Baby Nest used for?
The Bubnest Baby Nest is a familiar and safe place for your baby to lay and play, and offers practical support for parents - giving you an extra pair of helping hands.

Product & Materials
What materials are Bubnest products made from?
At Bubnest, we consciously curate every stitch, fibre and material used across our entire range of products. We exclusively use certified organic cottons for any surface that comes into contact with baby’s skin, and all other components are made from organic or recycled fibres. Please see the specific materials listed on each product page.
Why organic cotton?
Organic cotton is grown without pesticides, herbicides, or toxic chemicals. It’s safer for bub, gentler on skin, and better for the environment.
Are your fabrics certified?
Yes, our cotton fabrics are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified, which means they’re produced under strict environmental and social criteria.
What makes the Baby Nest different from others on the market?

How long does it take to process my order?
Our team endeavour to dispatch all orders within 24-48 hours. (Dispatch times may be longer during sales periods)
What shipping options do you have?
Free AU shipping for all orders $250+
Express shipping options may not be available during sale period.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes we ship worldwide - add to cart to see if we ship to your specific region.
International shipping rates are calculated at the checkout and you will be notified of the total shipping fee before being charged.
Please note Bubnest does not take responsibility for international taxes, duties or product regulations upon arrival. Please be aware of your country’s requirements ahead of placing your order.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your returns policy?
We accept returns on unused, unwashed products in their original packaging within 14 days of purchase. Please contact us at bubmail@bubnest.com.au to arrange a return. Please note we do not offer returns on clearance items and discounted items.
Can I exchange for a different colour?
Yes, we’re happy to help with exchanges as long as the product is in new condition and within the 14-day return period. Please contact us at bubmail@bubnest.com.au to arrange an exchange. Please note we do not offer exchanges on clearance items and discounted items.
What are the return shipping fees?
For a change of mind return or exchange, the postage fees are covered by the customer. However, if the product is deemed faulty Bubnest will cover the return and replacement postage fees.
Care & Maintenance
Are Bubnest products machine-washable?
Yes — all our fabric covers can be easily removed and machine-washed. Please follow the care label on each product.
How should I wash my Bubnest products?
We recommend washing on a gentle cycle with mild, eco-friendly detergent. Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, and fabric softeners.
Can I tumble dry the covers?
We suggest air-drying whenever possible to preserve fabric quality and reduce environmental impact. If using a dryer, use a low heat setting.
How do I care for the inner inserts?
Inserts should be spot-cleaned and aired regularly but not machine-washed, as this may damage the filling.
Will the cotton shrink after washing?
Our fabrics are pre-washed to reduce shrinkage, but we still recommend washing in cold or lukewarm water.
Can I dryclean my Bubnest products?
No not suitable for the harsh chemicals used in dry cleaning processes.
